Saturday night disco (9pm - 2am) - post your requests :)

Hello all,

I shall be running / DJing the Saturday night Aya disco this year Times and location isn't finalised yet (or if it is, I don't know about 'em yet!) but I'll be passing those on when I know. Until then, I need to get started with my music collecting...


Please post your requests in this thread. If you want to hear it on the night, let me know here so I can track it down in advance


A few quick rules:

- Only Japanese/anime/video game/dorama/sentai/tokusatsu/j-pop and related requests. Korean pop and Chinese pop is also OK. It's fine if the song is in English or another language, as long as it has some connection to the theme of the con No random Western music requests, please, these will be ignored.

- It's got to be DANCEABLE and upbeat! Nothing slow or dreary please. This is a disco!

- There will be a request sheet on the night for you to write your requests down on there. I can't possibly remember all the requests from this thread in advance - this thread is just for me to make sure I've got a copy of all the tracks asked for. If you want to hear it on the night you must remember to write it on the sheet at the disco!  Also be aware that I simply can't play all the requests I get - I do my best to play as many as possible but I have to prioritise the most popular ones, especially towards the end of the night.

- Please be polite and respectful in this thread and at the disco itself! Running the party is hard work and it's nice if everyone can be friendly and considerate.

Awesome. I was waiting for this. It's one of those rare threads that's actually worth bothering with.

I'm supposed to be at work, so I'll post a bit more some other time, but I'll take a few minutes out to request Capsule. Anything by them is great, but I'll be especially pleased if you could perhaps try for Jumper, Starry Sky, 5ive Star. Either/or, I like them all. But yeah, Capsule ftw plx.

I wholeheartedly endorse these products.

In fact, anything by Yui is fantastic, just not Rolling Star because it's disgracefully overplayed and I'm terribly elitist like that. One year I requested How Crazy and you played that. A good time was had by all. Then you played Rolling star and it was good because two Yui songs is better than one.
