Cosplay HQ, Sunday, 3pm-5pm

Are you a cosplayer? Is your home slowly being taken over by mountains of unused fabric/wigs/old costumes/materials that you'll just never use? Would you like to give some of it a new home so that you can fill the just emptied space with more fabric/wigs/costumes/materials that you may or may not use?

Then we have an event for you!

It was given a "trial run" last Ayacon, but it returns this year as a proper event in the hopes of raising even more money, held in Cosplay HQ on the Sunday 3pm-5pm.

Please bring along any unwanted cosplay materials to Cosplay HQ over the weekend at any time prior to the event: this includes fabric, trimmings, tools, materials, wigs, old costumes, props... really anything related to cosplay! We'll price them up for you, and then you can come along to the event and pick up some bargains. If you are bringing full costumes please put it in a bag with a picture of the costume and general sizing information, ie height, women's dress size, chest/waist/hip measurements etc - whichever is most relevant.

This is slightly different to the regular Bring & Buy as ALL profits will go to the con charity - it's intended as a chance for you to give a happy new home to things you won't use in the name of cosplay philanthropy. We'll also have a prize draw for anyone who donates items or purchases anything from the event!

If we have any particularly stunning costumes brought in we may operate a sealed-bid auction scheme on them whereby the person offering the greatest amount of money (without revealing the amounts bid) wins the costume.
