We're very pleased to announce the total amounts donated to charity from the various convention charity events and collection. A massive thank you is due to everyone who kindly donated, resulting in a fantastic donation of £4305.68 to the British Heart Foundation and £160.00 to the Japanese Red Cross.

From 1st - 30th November 2010 we're asking you to take part in The Aya Challenge. It's a month long competition where we want you to take a creative project from inception to completion. It can be any medium you like: a story, a song, a game, a comic, a photoshoot, etc... Whatever you feel like doing the most, the important thing is just pick something you can finish.
At the start of the month a theme for the competition was chosen. Whatever you make should in some way reflect this theme. Think of it as a boundary to help focus your creativity. It's not too restrictive and should help spark up some interesting ideas.
All the available themes proved popular and after a continuing dead heat it ended in a tie between Destruction and A Box. So your work should use one or both of them at your discretion.
There won't be a prize for winners as such. We want this to be about you making something you're passionate about, and actually finishing it. So in essence whatever you make is your prize.
There's an Aya Challenge board on the forum. To take part create a thread about your project. Over the course of the month we'd like you to keep us updated in that thread with whatever progress you can show us. And hopefully you can comment on each others works.
